We are seeking an experienced Director of Commercial Operations to join a new department. While our company continues to work remotely for the foreseeable future, this position is based in Sightly’s NYC office. This role reports to the EVP of Strategic Development.

Position Summary

This is a highly visible position within an organization experiencing explosive growth in the ad tech space. You will be at the center of contract development and the commercialization of the way Sightly engages with the marketplace.

Our groundbreaking Brand Mentality™ platform is continuously adding new features and solutions which requires commercial agreements to be maintained. You will be an integral part of this new commercial department and work alongside the EVP of Strategic Development to serve internal stakeholders and build a new system of working for the firm.

This is a unique opportunity to leverage attention to detail, contract writing, and people skills interacting across all departments at a marketing software start-up based in NYC and San Diego.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own all contracts that flow through the firm
  • Serve as a conduit across all departments ensuring commercial deal points meet Sightly’s standards and objectives
  • Keep abreast of immediate competitive landscape and overall marketplace developments including pricing analysis that informs Sightly’s pricing
  • Foster new working relationships and synergies across people and business units
  • Cultivate greater transparency for the organization as it relates to commercial agreements
  • Guide and drive use of analytics data to impact Sightly’s overall business strategy
  • Produce and manage a process that enables quick decision making
  • Provide commercial analysis and insight for senior management
  • Perform revenue operations workflows such as managing Salesforce and optimizing how closed deals are communicated throughout the firm
  • Maintain and promote alignment of strategy – the ‘right’ thing to do and not just the ‘easy’ thing to do, unless they are the same
  • Attend industry events regarding legal and privacy communications developments, as necessary and as long as deemed safe during the COVID-19 era

  • Ability to build trusted advisor relationship to management and other stakeholders throughout the firm
  • Sound judgment and discretion when dealing with highly confidential information
  • Salesforce experience
  • 7+ years of professional experience
  • 5+ years in the marketing field

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our team! This role will work on the Data Science and Analytics team developing machine learning models, data science products and derived metrics that help us stay competitive across our advertising platforms.

DUTIES INCLUDE

  • Gathering and analyzing unique ad placement and performance data
  • Generating insights based on our ad placements and performance
  • Building heuristics and models that allow us to quickly optimize ad campaigns
  • Understanding and communicating data requirements for the purpose of product development
  • Communicating results with key stakeholders across internal business units and external clients

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • 2-3 years experience as a Data Scientist building machine learning models and analyzing data
  • Bachelor’s degree or better in a quantitative field (computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, economics, etc.)
  • Excellent experience with a modern data science programming toolset (Python, Jupyter or similar notebook environment, PyTorch/Tensorflow or similar machine learning framework)
  • Excellent data intuition and analytical skills (understanding and identifying sources of bias, able to derive insight from unstructured data)
  • Good understanding of modern machine learning algorithms (tree models, SVM, deep learning)
  • Good experience with feature engineering 
  • Good relational database experience (PostgreSQL or similar)
  • Some experience developing software services for machine learning models, especially REST APIs (FastAPI or Flask preferred)
  • Familiarity with and experience using git or similar code versioning software 
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and follow industry best practices in an ever-evolving field
  • Able to communicate complex data science concepts to non-technical audiences

  • Snowflake data warehouse experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In conjunction with the sales team, build, nurture, and grow relationships with agencies and direct clients to maintain and grow business
  • Act as main point of contact for all client day-to-day account needs to ensure that all of their needs are understood and effectively addressed
  • Collaborate with sales and performance managers for seamless transition from pre-sale through kick off and activation, including spearheading client kickoff meetings, communicating effectively and comprehensively client KPIs and campaign details to performance management, and liaising with internal teams for any custom creative development and passthrough of assets, tags, etc.

Position Summary:

Sightly Enterprises, Inc. is looking for a Product Marketer to join our growing Marketing team. This role is a highly visible opportunity to impact a fast-growing company obsessed with innovation. In this role, you will help further shape the unique message of Sightly and our groundbreaking Brand Mentality™ platform by developing product positioning, and coordinating and planning go-to-market launch tactics.

Responsibilities:

  • Help develop go-to-market strategies and sales enablement content – including demo scripts, messaging, presentations, product videos, and product emails
  • Engage with customers and collaborate with the sales, marketing, and data science teams to help craft high-impact content such as case studies, one sheeters, downloadable guides, and more
  • Generate competitive analysis reports that monitor product enhancements across both competitors and market leaders to influence product decisions and product positioning

  • Maintain our Digital Asset Management Platform to ensure all collateral is up-to-date and available to the larger team

Qualifications:

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handle online video ad campaigns from top agencies & brands, including setup, launch, pacing & optimization.
  • Navigate & utilize Google Ads & YouTube tools on a daily basis.
  • Become an expert at using Sightly’s proprietary platform, TargetView.
  • Ensure campaigns adhere to precise technical specifications of Sightly’s proprietary platform, TargetView, while meeting strict editorial & strategic requirements set by the inventory partners.
  • Address & provide support for clients & internal team members regarding campaign inquiries (i.e. status requests, report requests, troubleshooting).
  • Oversee campaign reporting to ensure accuracy of data & measurement of campaign success.
  • Deliver client-facing reporting to Account Management and/or directly to the client.
  • Act as a liaison between Operations department to the Sales, Marketing, Product & Account Management teams to ensure top-notch campaign performance & service.
  • Analyze campaigns to identify areas of opportunity for growth.
  • Work closely with other team members in managing requests and the documentation of these details for the benefit of inter-departmental accuracy and communications.
  • Assist in the quality assurance of our product through owning the cross-check of TargetView, AdWords, & Salesforce. This will require working closely with numbers & the Engineering & Finance departments.
  • Identify and escalate priority issues, redirecting them to appropriate resources.
  • Responsible for reaching and exceeding team revenue goals.
  • Stay current with system and standard operating procedure changes and updates.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ReSPONSIBILITIES

  • At least 3-4 years experience in ad operations, programmatic media, and/or campaign management required. Must have experience working in Google Ads (formerly Adwords).
  • Familiarity in managing Search, Display and/or Video Advertising Campaigns is a plus.
  • Current Google As certification is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Experience using Salesforce and/or Asana is a plus.
  • Extremely organized & thorough.
  • Creative thinking, resourcefulness, multi-tasking and problem solving.
  • Flexibility to move from project to project as needed.
  • Both analytic and creative thinking abilities, with proficiency in process management and problem solving.
